The bunad from Kvinnherad is based on the clothing custom from the area towards the end of the 1800s. It consists of a blue or red vest, black breeches and a white or black shirt. The vest has a single row of nine buttons and the buttonholes are sewn with red wool fabric. The laskat shirt or coat has no buttons. The breeches have a knee buckle and three buttons above each knee. The trouser flap closes with buttons in the waistband. The shirt is in white cotton or linen and is decorated with seam.
