The men's bunad from Nordland, as it is today, was originally made by the tailor Cornelius Jacobsen in Harstad as a groom's bunad for Johannes Eidnes in 1924.
The costume material for the bunad was collected from various places in Nordland and Troms.
The jersey (jacket) and knee breeches are in black wool fabric.
The trousers can be worn with braces that fasten with buttons.
The waistcoat is in floral, brocade-like fabric.
A white shirt, stockings and garters are also included.
