The bunad silver you need is:
- Neck button/neck pin
- Cufflinks
- 10 large buttons for the coat
- 12-14 small buttons for the vest
- 4-6 small buttons for the breeches
- One pair of knee buckles
- Shoe buckles, bunad knife and watch with a watch chain complete the bunad
Check with your tailor how many buttons you need for your costume, as it may vary slightly from tailor to tailor.
Gråtøya or gråkufta is the most common type of men's tunic from East Telemark.
But the green jersey from Heddal is also common.
There are many possibilities for variation.
