The bunad silver you need is:

Neck pin or neck button
Cufflinks
14 large buttons for the coat
6 small buttons for the coat sleeves
12 small buttons for the green part of the vest
14 large buttons for the red part of the vest
6 buttons for the breeches (if you choose a flap instead of a fly, you will need 5 extra buttons)
One pair of knee buckles
Shoe buckles, bunad knife and watch with a watch chain complete the bunad

This men's bunad from Voss has a black coat and long trousers or knee breeches. The vest is red with a recessed green front. This makes it look like there are two vests on top of each other. The vest fastens with two rows of buttons on the green part. There are also two rows of buttons on the red part. The shirt is white and often has embroidery on the collar and cuffs. White stockings and colored ribbons are also included. The headdress for men is a black felt hat, while boys wear a red knitted hat. Boys also wear a simple red vest.
