Some people call it the "Queen's Bunad". Whether that's because HM Queen Sonja wears it a lot, or whether it's because it's the queen of bunads, you can decide for yourself. In any case, it's lovely, and with the help of "bunad artist" Anne Bamle, it's probably the bunad that has done the most to bring about a bunad renaissance in Norway.

People who wear black and white shirts often choose oxidized silver, and those who have colored embroidery on their shirts choose old gold-plated silver. But there is no law or rule that says it has to be this way, and it's fine to have something oxidized and something old gold-plated. It's your choice. Everything contributes to making your bunad unique.
