Today's bunad from Nordmøre is made from reconstructions of old garments and are based on the costume custom that was common in inner Nordmøre in the first half of the 19th century. The bodice is red or green and the skirt in dark blue or black. The bunad has a white shirt with the characteristic white stitching of the area. A purse, lace-up shoes or the more common bunad shoes complete the bunad. Otherwise, the bunad is varied with different materials and accessories.
