Østfoldbunad men
The bunad silver you need is:
- Cufflinks
- Neck pin/neck button
- 14 buttons for the coat
- 14 buttons for the vest
- 13 buttons for your breeches
- One pair of knee buckles
- Shoe buckles, bunad knife and watch with a watch chain complete the bunad
The men's Østfoldbunad comes in several variations and has been reconstructed based on parts of costumes from the latter part of the 18th and early 19th centuries. The long coat, which was called a dress, was made in two versions, white and dark blue wool fabric. The breeches were made in white hide and black wool fabric. Work is now underway on the fourth version of the vest.
