Romsdalsbunad men
The bunad silver you need is:
- Neck button
- Cufflinks
- 24 buttons for the coat, 6 of which go on the sleeves and 3 on each pocket
- 12 buttons for the vest
- 9 buttons for the breeches, 6 of which go in the knee lining
- Knee buckles
- Shoe buckles, a bunad knife and watch with a watch chain complete the bunad
The men's bunad from Romsdal has been in use since the early 1920s. The bunad is made with a short or long coat, both in gray spotted fulled woolen cloth. The vest is plain or checked, and the knee breeches are either black or blue.
