The bunad silver you need is:
- Cufflinks
- Neck pin/neck button
- 8 buttons for the coat
- 11-13 buttons for the breeches (check with your tailor for the exact number)
- Knee buckles if your breeches should have them (there are variations, so check with your tailor)
- 7-14 buttons for the vest (check with your tailor for the exact number, as it varies depending on which vest you want)
- Belt buckle
- Shoe buckles, a bunad knife and watch with a watch chain complete the bunad
The men's Sunnfjord bunad is based on suits from the 19th century. The coat is red with and without embroidery. The picture shows the bunad with the embroidered coat.
