The bunad silver you need is:
- Cufflinks
- Neck pin/neck button or horn ring
- 12 small buttons for the vest
- 16 large buttons for the coat
- 6 small buttons for the coat
- 8 large buttons for trousers
- 8 small buttons for trousers
- Shoe buckles, bunad knife and watch with a watch chain complete the bunad
Button usage varies somewhat from tailor to tailor, so check with your tailor for the exact number.
The men's bunad from Vestfold does not come in as many variations as the bunad for ladies. It is mainly a red coat that is used.
