Stone to Rjukanfoss pin

The stone is approximately 60 mm wide, 40 mm high and 20 mm deep (no two are exactly alike) with a hole and recess for the Rjukanfoss pin in the middle.
Together with the Rjukanfoss pin, this makes a beautiful mini-sculpture!”The base” is made of “soapstone”.
It’s not really soapstone, but it has many of the same properties, and has therefore been used as, and called, soapstone.
This distinctive stone is probably the oldest “export article” from Tinn.
Soapstone has been sourced from here for many kinds of tools perhaps since the first humans settled here.Rjukanfoss pin purchased separately.
