The men's bunad from Os is a variation of the popular bunad from around the 1900s. The coat and breeches are in black wadmal. The vest is made of red cloth with a green field in the middle of the front. This gives the illusion of two vests, emphasized by the use of a double row of buttons on the green field and a single row of buttons on each side of the red vest. The shirt is in white cotton canvas or linen.
