The bunad silver you need is:

- 3-4 pairs of eyelets
- Tightening bands and eyelet bands
- Dish Brooch
- Belt buckle
- Purse clasp
- Silver plaques if you want this
Sunnfjord had a traditional way of carrying their national costume until the 1860s. This tradition is the basis for the modern Sunnfjordbunad. Keeping the bunad as traditional as possible has required special measures; everything from coloring the fabric, to patterns and cut has been based on old models. There is great variation in the colors and apron patterns.
