The bunad silver you need is:

12 buttons for the waist
Neck pin or neck button, possibly a small dish brooch
Cufflinks
1-2 dish brooches to put on the shirt (also called "lauvsølje")

There are different sizes, handmade and cast, etc. Everything contributes to making your bunad unique.

The silver needed for the Tinnbunad is much cheaper than the Vest- and Øst-Telemark silver. The color combination is special to the silver for the Tinnbunad and is not found on any other bunads. But there are still many variations to choose from. The silver for the Tinnbunad is largely "inherited" from the Skjælestakk from Tinn. Originally it had a dark brooch background with gilded dishes. This color combination is exclusive for this bunad.
