Literature, photographs and old textiles form the basis for the design of this women's tunic for Troms county.
The fabric for skirt is inspired by an old sample from Bjarkøy and the shape of a bridal costume from Tranøy on Senja.
The waistcoat is sewn in deep red or golden damask.
Two headdresses are made in black, and a beautiful black cape with a red lining.
The costume can also be accessorized with its very own bow in colors from the costume.
Attach it with a pretty little brooch.
If you don't have such a bow, you can choose from many different silk scarves.
Shoe buckles and an umbrella are also included. The bunad silver for the Troms bunad is composed based on some old silver buttons from Tromsø Museum.
